ABFRL Increases Stake In Goodview Fashion To 51%
Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL) has increased its shareholding in Goodview Fashion (GFPL), which manufactures and sells ethnic couture under the brand ‘Tarun Tahiliani,’ from 33.50% to 51%. This was achieved through a secondary acquisition of a 17.5% equity stake from existing GFPL shareholders.
As a result, GFPL transitioned from an associate to a subsidiary of ABFRL, effective July 11, 2024. The acquisition cost approximately Rs 127.42 crore.
