Arvind Ltd Appoints Praveen Sharma VP – Spinning Operations

Arvind Limited has appointed Praveen Sharma as Vice President – Spinning Operations. In his new role, Sharma will lead the company’s spinning operations and drive initiatives focused on operational excellence, product development, process optimisation and sustainable manufacturing.

With more than two decades of experience in the textile industry, Sharma is expected to play a key role in strengthening Arvind’s competitiveness and advancing innovation across its spinning value chain.

Prior to joining Arvind, Sharma served as Unit Head (Vice President – Works) at PT Indoliberty Textiles in Karawang, Indonesia, one of the largest overseas spinning plants of the Aditya Birla Group. Earlier, he spent over 14 years with Aditya Birla Yarn in Indonesia, where he held the position of General Manager, overseeing areas including product development, quality assurance and customer service.

Sharma began his career with Indorama Synthetics and later worked with RSWM Limited, where he served as Assistant General Manager (Spinning). His extensive experience across production, maintenance and plant leadership positions has provided him with deep expertise in spinning operations.
