Oerlikon Thailand Celebrates 20 Years Of Innovation With New Aerospace PVD Coating Lane
Oerlikon marked a significant milestone as its Thailand coating centre celebrated 20 years of delivering innovative surface solutions. The anniversary event highlighted Oerlikon’s commitment to advancing technologies through both local-to-local and global-to-local services, including PVD and thermal spray equipment, additive manufacturing and advanced materials.
A major highlight of the event was the inauguration of a new PVD coatings lane dedicated to the aerospace segment. The ribbon-cutting was led by Dr. Sumeet Gupta, Regional President APAC; Pravin Shirse, Country President India & SEA Countries; and Conradin Rasi, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Switzerland in Bangkok. The presence of key aerospace clients reflected growing trust and collaboration in the region.
The celebration opened with a welcome by Gopinath Chikathor, Director Sales & Operations Thailand, followed by addresses from Gupta and Shirse. Customers shared testimonials highlighting the quality and reliability of Oerlikon’s solutions.
