CMAI’s Kidswear Fair Draws 15K+ Buyers, Marks Segment Surge

The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) successfully concluded the 81st National Garment Fair, Kidswear Edition from June 23–25 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. The exclusive show drew over 15,000 buyers from India and 50+ international visitors, reinforcing the growing demand for kidswear.
Featuring 590 brands across 3.5 lakh sq. ft., the fair saw strong order bookings ahead of the festive season. Retailers like Kalyan Silks, G3+, and Kasam Selection attended, underlining the fair’s sourcing relevance.
CMAI President Santosh Katariya noted the kidswear market is projected to grow from US$22 billion in 2024 to US$34 billion by 2029, driven by rising incomes and fashion-conscious families.
Following this, the Men’s & Women’s Wear Edition of the 81st NGF will be held from July 14–16, 2025, at the same venue.
