Arvind Ltd & Indian Navy Sign MoU For Technologically Advanced Uniform Fabric

Arvind Ltd, a prominent textile and apparel company, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Navy for the supply of cutting-edge uniform fabric. The Navy spokesperson announced on social media that the fabric is designed to be anti-fungal, anti-microbial and anti-bacterial, tailored for tropical conditions. It boasts improved moisture management technology and a higher whiteness index, ensuring durability through multiple washing cycles.

In a parallel development, Admiral Fahad Abdullah S Al-Ghofaily, Chief of Staff of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, visited Admiral R Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff, Indian Navy, in New Delhi. Discussions centred around collaborative mechanisms and measures to strengthen naval cooperation, reaffirming the enduring relationship between the two nations. Admiral Al-Ghofaily’s four-day official visit underscores the longstanding ties between the naval forces of Saudi Arabia and India, marked by regular port calls of Indian Navy ships at various Saudi Arabian ports.
