Atlas To Exhibit Lightfastness Testing Instruments At ITMA
Germany based Atlas Material Testing Technology will showcase lightfastness testing instruments at ITMA 2023 in Hall 4, Stall E208. The company will display its Ci3000+ and Xenotest 440 instruments.
According to Atlas, specified by all major European and US retailers and used by testing labs across the world, the Ci3000+ is widely considered the benchmark instrument for weathering and lightfastness testing of textiles.
“Its advanced digital control system and optical technologies provide precise and reliable control of all test parameters for remarkably accurate prediction of service life. The Ci3000+ includes a two-tier rack option that increases capacity by 50%,” the company said.
It also has a larger and more intuitive graphical user interface, the WXView II web-based data acquisition software for remote access to live and archived test and instrument data, while meeting all internationally recognised standards, including AATCC, ISO, Marks & Spencer, and GB/T.
Compact, yet capable of testing over 200 samples simultaneously, the Xenotest 440 is a high-performance xenon-arc instrument ideal for textile weathering and lightfastness testing.
Its advanced features include; Ultrasonic humidifier to reduce water consumption; recycling of spray water during weathering testing; and up to 4,000-hour lamp service life
The Xenotest 440 also meets global lightfastness and weathering standards, including AATCC, ISO, Marks & Spencer, and GB/T.
