Banswara Syntex Reports Strong Growth In Fabric And Garment Segments In Q2

Banswara Syntex Ltd reported a mixed performance for Q2 FY25, with total income rising to Rs 345.2 crore, an 8.5% year-on-year increase. The quarter saw notable growth in the fabric and garment divisions, offsetting some challenges in the yarn division.

The fabric segment experienced strong demand, particularly in the UK and EU, with revenue growing 24.4% year-over-year to Rs 132 crore. The newly launched fabric brand, Simone Frederico & Figli, has shown early positive results, expanding its presence across India. Garment sales also rose significantly by 9.4% YoY, reaching Rs 83 crore, driven by festive demand and pending orders from Q1.
The yarn segment, however, faced a 5.5% YoY decline in revenue due to modernization efforts and labour shortages. Exports grew 11.2% YoY to Rs 138 crore, while domestic sales climbed 6.6%.

“Our fabric and garment divisions have demonstrated resilience and growth, fueled by festive demand and expanding international traction. With the positive response to our new brand, Simone Frederico & Figli, we are optimistic about the path ahead as we enhance our market presence in India and abroad,” said Ravindra Kumar Toshniwal, Managing Director of Banswara Syntex Ltd. “Looking to the future, we anticipate sustained momentum as demand strengthens across key markets.”
