Uzbekistan, Poland Explore Deeper Textile And Apparel Trade Ties

Uzbekistan and Poland have taken steps to strengthen cooperation in the textile and apparel sector through a high-level industry roundtable and a series of business-to-business meetings aimed at expanding trade, investment and market access opportunities.
The engagements, held during an official visit by representatives of Uzbekistan’s light industry sector to Europe, brought together more than 60 participants from both countries, including textile and apparel manufacturers, buyers, distributors, retail representatives, logistics providers and e-commerce specialists.
Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral trade relations, promoting greater collaboration between businesses and exploring opportunities to increase the presence of Uzbek textile and apparel products in Poland and other European markets. Participants also exchanged views on strengthening supply chain partnerships, improving distribution networks and developing long-term commercial relationships.
During the meetings, Uzbekistan showcased its growing manufacturing capabilities and export potential across a wide range of product categories, including ready-made garments, knitwear, home textiles, leather products and footwear. The country’s integrated textile value chain and expanding production base were highlighted as key strengths for serving European buyers.
Industry representatives from both sides explored possibilities for joint projects, sourcing partnerships and market development initiatives designed to support greater trade flows between the two countries. Particular attention was given to creating direct business linkages that can help companies access new customers and diversify their international markets.
The event concluded with a series of B2B meetings, providing companies with an opportunity to identify potential partners, discuss future collaborations and lay the groundwork for deeper cooperation in the textile and apparel sector.
