Beybi Egy To Invest US$ 1.5 Mn In Industrial Safety Gloves Plant At SCZone

Beybi Egy Industrial Gloves Manufacturing has signed an investment agreement to establish a new manufacturing facility in Egypt’s Sokhna Industrial Zone, within the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone), with an investment of US$ 1.5 million (approximately EGP 74.4 million).

The project, witnessed by Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of SCZone, will operate from two ready-built factory units developed by Main Development Company (MDC). Spanning 2,800 sq. m, the facility is expected to create 100 direct jobs, with commercial production scheduled to begin by the end of 2026.

The factory will manufacture specialised industrial safety gloves for occupational protection, targeting export markets and strengthening Egypt’s textile and industrial manufacturing value chain. The company also plans to expand production capacity in the future to enhance its global market presence.

Gamal El-Dien said the investment reflects SCZone’s strategy of attracting export-oriented manufacturing and specialised industries that complement integrated industrial value chains. He added that the ready-built factory model enables investors to commence operations quickly while boosting value-added manufacturing and exports.
