BGMEA, BBCC Sign MoU To Boost Trade And Investment Cooperation

The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and the Bangladesh Business Chamber of Canada (BBCC) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in trade, investment and knowledge exchange between the two organisations.
Under the MoU, BGMEA and BBCC will work to create closer networking and communication channels between their members. The partnership includes plans to facilitate knowledge sharing, organise trade exhibitions in both Bangladesh and Canada, and send business delegations to explore market and investment opportunities.
According to a statement from BGMEA, the collaboration will focus on promoting Bangladeshi apparel and textile products in the Canadian and broader North American markets. The two organisations also aim to build the capacity of entrepreneurs and professionals through training, skills development and information exchange.
The agreement will further support partnership building and joint ventures, while also enabling both sides to share insights on policies, market dynamics x and global trends relevant to the apparel sector.
The MoU was signed at the BGMEA office in Dhaka by BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan and BBCC President Alamgir M Rahman.
