Brückner Opens New Subsidiary In Coimbatore
Brückner Textile Technologies, headquartered in Leonberg, Germany, has announced the opening of its new subsidiary, Brückner Textile India Pvt. Ltd., in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in the company’s longstanding global expansion and deepens its commitment to the Indian textile industry.
With this new entity, Brückner aims to enhance its proximity to Indian customers, enabling faster, more responsive, and tailored support. “Having a presence on the ground enables us to respond more quickly, precisely, and flexibly to the needs of the Indian market,” stated the management. “Brückner stands for German technology and precision in India, we combine this with local speed and agility.”
The Coimbatore based subsidiary will offer the full spectrum of Brückner’s solutions, including new machines, modifications, spare parts, technical consulting, machine upgrades, and comprehensive after-sales service. While all machinery will continue to be manufactured at Brückner’s facility in Tittmoning, Bavaria, the newly formed Indian team will manage sales, installation and service operations.
The leadership team at Brückner Textile India Pvt. Ltd. brings a wealth of experience and regional insight. Thomas Wiget, with over 31 years of professional experience in India, has been appointed Director of the subsidiary. A. Venkatesh Babu will oversee sales in the Eastern and Southern regions, while Vinod Kumar V. will manage sales across Northern and Western India. Together, they ensure strong customer engagement and dependable support across the country.
