Carrington Textiles has expanded its military fabric portfolio through a partnership with Haartz GmbH, bringing the ProTact by Haartz range of laminated fabrics to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
Manufactured in Germany, ProTact by Haartz is specifically engineered for demanding military and tactical applications, including rucksacks, load-carrying systems, vests and pouches. The collaboration enhances Carrington Textiles’ specialist defence offering with high-performance technical laminates designed to deliver superior strength, reliability and comfort in the field.
The ProTact range provides several advantages for tactical equipment manufacturers. These include laser-cut readiness with clean edges and no residue, reduced fraying thanks to precision layer bonding, enhanced flexibility for greater comfort, and Cordura Truelock technology for consistent colour and UV fade resistance. The fabrics also feature exceptional durability, preventing delamination even in extreme conditions, and have proven their reliability in field performance tests.
The initial portfolio includes ProTact G510.1, a 500D/1000D fabric available in black, coyote brown, and MultiCam camouflage, and ProTact G55.1, a 500D/500D fabric offered in black, coyote brown, and ranger green.
