China’s Textile & Apparel Exports Up 14.26% In Jan & Feb

China’s textile and apparel exports in the first two months of 2024 stood at US $45.09 billion, up 14.26 percent compared to $39.46 billion in the same period of 2023.

Of these, textile exports between January and February 2024 were $21.71, an increase of 15.5 percent over $18.79 billion in the same comparable period of previous year.

In the months under review, the country exported clothing and garment accessories amounting to $23.38 billion as against $20.67 billion in a year ago period, thereby reporting a growth of 13.1 percent.

In the reporting period, China’s imports of textiles stood at $1.58 billion compared to $1.39 billion, a year-on-year rise of 13.3 percent.
