Coats Digital Names Himanshu Mehrotra As Managing Director
Coats Digital has appointed Himanshu Mehrotra as Managing Director, tasking him with steering the company’s strategic direction, innovation roadmap and global expansion as it accelerates development of cloud-native, AI-powered solutions for the apparel and footwear supply chain.
A technology leader with over 23 years of experience in building and scaling supply chain software businesses, Mehrotra has held senior roles at companies including Oracle, Blue Yonder and FourKites. His expertise spans product leadership, P&L management and commercial transformation across global markets.
Mehrotra succeeds Kunal Kapur, who has transitioned to a new role within the Coats Group Apparel division.
Commenting on his appointment, Mehrotra said the fashion industry is undergoing rapid change driven by AI, digitalisation and increasing demands for speed, transparency and resilience. He added that the company aims to build an advanced Fashion Intelligence Platform leveraging cloud and AI technologies to deliver measurable value and long-term competitive advantage for customers.
David Paja, Group CEO of Coats Group, said Mehrotra’s track record in scaling cloud-based platforms and delivering performance outcomes positions him well to lead the next phase of growth. He added that Coats Digital plays a central role in the Group’s strategy to provide high-value digital solutions that enhance manufacturing performance globally.
Mehrotra joined Coats Digital in November 2025 as Head of Product & Customer Success, working closely with global customers to drive a more innovation-led, ROI-focused strategy.
The company’s portfolio includes GSDCost, GSDQuest and FastReactPlan, solutions designed to help manufacturers improve productivity, agility and profitability while transitioning from fragmented systems to integrated, AI-enabled operations.
