Decathlon India has announced a partnership with quick commerce firm Zepto to enhance the accessibility of sports and fitness products across the country. Beginning in September, users in 16 cities, including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Chennai and Hyderabad, will be able to order fitness, outdoor, water sports and team sports products through Zepto’s platform.

Sankar Chatterjee, CEO of Decathlon India, emphasized the importance of the partnership in meeting the growing demand for active lifestyles. “This collaboration strengthens our mission to deliver sporting products quickly and efficiently to our customers’ doorsteps,” he said.

Zepto CEO Aadit Palicha added, “We are thrilled to work with Decathlon to make fitness products more accessible and promote an active lifestyle for millions of Indians.”

Last month, Decathlon revealed plans to invest Rs 933 crore in India over the next five years to expand its store count from 127 to 190, boost digital engagement and increase local sourcing from 68% to 85% by 2026.
