Textiles PLI Turnover Threshold Cut To Rs 100 Crore

The Ministry of Textiles will reopen the application portal for the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Textiles from November 1 to December 31, 2026, inviting fresh applications under Round 4.

To widen participation among MSMEs and mid-sized manufacturers, the ministry has reduced the minimum turnover requirement under Part 2 from Rs 200 crore to Rs 100 crore. The minimum investment threshold for this category remains Rs 50 crore.

The scheme supports manufacturing of man-made fibre (MMF) apparel, MMF fabrics and technical textiles. It aims to strengthen domestic manufacturing, attract investment, generate employment and enhance India’s participation in global textile value chains.

For applicants approved under Round 4, the scheme’s tenure has been extended to FY2033–34, providing a longer investment and operational horizon to establish and scale manufacturing capacity.

Existing participants approved under Rounds 1, 2 and 3, across either part of the scheme, may also migrate to Round 4 if they have neither claimed nor received any incentive. Migration will be subject to withdrawal of their existing applications under the respective rounds.
