DVF Teams Up With Lenzing For Sustainable Fashion Revolution

Lenzing Group has teamed up with Diane von Furstenberg (DVF) to introduce TENCEL™ and LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded fibers into mainstream fashion. These fibers, sourced from sustainably managed wood, are featured prominently in DVF’s latest collections of everyday fashion and accessories, available globally in both online and physical stores. The collaboration highlights a commitment to environmental responsibility, leveraging fibers certified with the EU Ecolabel for their minimal environmental impact.

DVF, renowned for empowering women through timeless designs, integrates Lenzing’s fibers known for their resource-efficient production. This partnership aims to enhance DVF’s design aesthetics, blending style and comfort with sustainable performance. The 2024 Summer collection, themed “The Festival of Color,” showcases garments made from LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibers, alongside silk, linen, and cotton, reflecting vibrant global inspirations from festivals like Cinco de Mayo and Midsummer Festival.

Jessie Chen, DVF’s Global Strategic Partner and CEO of Greater China, expressed excitement over promoting sustainable fashion choices. Harold Weghorst, Senior Director of Marketing and Branding at Lenzing AG, highlighted the fibers’ significant reductions in carbon emissions and water consumption, reinforcing Lenzing’s commitment to environmental sustainability. This collaboration marks a milestone in advocating for eco-conscious fashion, offering stylish and environmentally compatible choices to consumers worldwide.
