emtec Unveils TSA Hand-Feel Analyzer At ITMA Asia 2025

At ITMA Asia + CITME Singapore 2025 (28–31 October), emtec Electronic will unveil its innovative TSA Tactile Sensation Analyzer (TSA) in combination with the Virtual Haptic Library, offering a revolutionary approach to objective textile hand-feel measurement. Visitors can explore the compact device at Hall 3, Booth H3-B303, where it delivers rapid, reproducible data on surface softness, smoothness, stretch and recovery, friction, thermal properties and air permeability.

The TSA system enhances supply chain communication by providing standardized terminology and objective targets for haptic quality parameters, helping companies reduce costs, accelerate decisions, and minimize environmental impact by limiting physical sample production. Digitized results in the cloud-based Virtual Haptic Library link TSA data to realistic, virtual haptic profiles, allowing users to experience fabric feel digitally.

2025 marks emtec’s 30th anniversary, reflecting decades of innovation in precision testing solutions. “ITMA provides the perfect platform to demonstrate the evolution of our solutions and the future of objective hand-feel analysis,” said Giselher Gruener, Managing Director of emtec Electronic.

During the show, Markus Amthor from emtec’s Global Business Development, along with regional partner James Xiang from RoacheLab (Asia) Co., Ltd., will be available for live demonstrations. Visitors are invited to bring their own textile samples for testing and discussion.

emtec’s TSA Tactile Sensation Analyzer and Virtual Haptic Library showcase how digital, objective hand-feel analysis can streamline product development and improve collaboration across the textile industry.
