Epson Launches SC-V4000 A1+ UV Flatbed Printer To Boost Productivity And Print Quality

Epson has introduced the SC-V4000 A1+ flatbed printer, expanding its UV printing portfolio to meet rising demand in the A1/A2 segment. The new model joins the company’s existing SC-V series, including the SC-V1000 and SC-V7000, with a focus on enhanced productivity, image quality and ease of use.
Designed for businesses with limited workspace, the SC-V4000 offers a compact footprint while delivering improved performance. It features a 10-colour Ultrachrome UV ink set, enabling a wider colour gamut, smoother gradation and reduced graininess. The printer also supports high-definition output, capable of reproducing fine text as small as 2pt, making it suitable for detailed applications such as fine art, photography and signage.
The A1+ flatbed allows simultaneous printing of two A2-sized jobs, supported by three PrecisionCore printheads that enable faster output at 300 dpi. The system also facilitates efficient three-layer printing white, colour and varnish in a single run.
Ease of use remains a key highlight, with front-access operation for maintenance tasks such as nozzle checks, ink refilling and waste management. Features like automatic media height detection and jam prevention help reduce downtime and improve workflow efficiency.
The SC-V4000 supports printing on substrates up to 200mm thick and, with UV DTFilm capability, can handle curved and complex surfaces, expanding its application range.
With this launch, Epson continues to strengthen its position in the UV flatbed printing market, offering versatile and high-performance solutions for evolving customer needs.
