Eurofins CPT Lanka Signs MoU With Sri Lanka Apparel Exporters Association
Eurofins Consumer Product Testing Lanka Pvt Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sri Lanka Apparel Exporters Association (SLAEA) to strengthen testing, sustainability and capability development across the country’s apparel sector.
The MoU was signed on Thursday, January 29, 2026, in Colombo, by Rajitha Jayasuriya, Chairperson of SLAEA and Dr Karthik ND, Regional Managing Director – South Asia, Eurofins CPT.
Under the partnership, Eurofins CPT will support SLAEA member organizations through laboratory testing services, value-added solutions and reduced turnaround times, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and innovation.
The collaboration will also focus on the design and delivery of specialized training programs in textile and apparel testing, sustainability, quality and compliance. By sharing expertise, knowledge, and resources, the initiative aims to enhance the global competitiveness of Sri Lanka’s apparel exports while promoting innovation-led and sustainable practices across the industry.
