Freudenberg Expands Coated Technical Textiles With Heytex Acquisition
Freudenberg Performance Materials is expanding its presence in coated technical textiles through the acquisition of key parts of Heytex Group from Bencis Capital Partners. The deal includes Heytex’s core business operations, three production sites in Germany and China, and all headquarters functions, including Sales and R&D. Heytex Group, a global leader in functional technical textiles, is headquartered in Bramsche, Germany. In 2023, the acquired parts of Heytex generated approximately €100 million in sales and employed around 400 people. The transaction is pending antitrust approval.
