Gartex Texprocess India Opens Its Doors
Gartex Texprocess India 2023 opened its doors yesterday and was inaugurated by Minister of State of Textiles, Darshana Jardosh. The exhibition will run to August 5.
Spread over 15,000 sq. metres, there are 185 exhibiting companies with around 300 brands showcasing more than 500 products.
Exhibitors include Jaysynth, Mimaki, Epson, Morgan Technica, Groz Beckert, DuPont, Schmetz India, Juki, Brother, Kansai, Siruba, Durkopp Adler and more.
The exhibition is supported by industry associations like the Denim Manufacturers Association, Surat Texmac Federation, Surat Embroidery Association and the Ministry of Textiles.
“The industry must adopt the concept of circularity to extend the lifespan of textiles by upcycling, recycling, reusing, and reducing the textile waste,” Darshana Jardosh said.
“The growth of the textile sector is one of the top priorities of the government and our efforts are to attract global industries and investment as well as create facilities and infrastructure for textile industry,” she added.
