German Knitter Expands Capabilities With Stoll’s Create Plus

Astrifa GmbH, a manufacturer of flatbed knitted fabrics claims to have significantly expanded its manufacturing capabilities by adopting Stoll’s Create Plus programming and design software.

The company operates an ultra-modern production facility that employs around 70 people, manufacturing around 700 items per week for men, women, and children.

Its factory consists exclusively of 17 Stoll machines, including the latest ADF and CMS series models.

Astrifa’s primary focus is producing a range of knitted jackets, pullovers, hats, and scarves in traditional costume style.

Astrifa also relies on the latest developments for programming the machines and, therefore, employs Stoll’s Create Plus software alongside other patterning systems.

According to Astrifa, Stoll’s Create Plus software combines a full-featured, advanced programming system, revolutionising the programming of Stoll flat knitting machines.

New versions are released every four months, and the current release has a greatly expanded system for multi-part knitting versus the previous software and many options for creating reports and statistics.
