GHCL Textiles Starts Production At Expanded Paravai Unit

GHCL Textiles Limited has announced the successful commencement of commercial production at the newly established Meenakshi section of its Paravai manufacturing unit, located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu.

With this expansion, the company has added 25,536 ring spindles, taking its total spindle capacity to 2,24,976. The company previously operated at a high-capacity utilization of 99% with 1,99,440 ring spindles.

The new section has been set up with an investment of Rs 215 crore, funded entirely through internal accruals. GHCL Textiles emphasized that this move aligns with its strategy for capacity expansion and business growth.
