Giriraj Singh Inaugurated Key Textile Events at Bharat Tex 2025 in Greater Noida

Union Minister of Textiles, Giriraj Singh, inaugurated a series of key industry events focusing on garment technology, dyes & chemicals, and handicrafts at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, under the umbrella of Bharat Tex 2025. The inauguration, marked by the traditional lighting of the lamp, set the stage for a dynamic platform that fostered innovation, sustainability, and business collaboration within the textile industry.
The Greater Noida event preceded the grand Bharat Tex 2025 exhibition, which took place at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from February 14 to 17, 2025. The mega event hosted over 5,000 exhibitors across a 2.2 million square feet exhibition space, attracting more than 6,000 international buyers from 110+ countries, along with 120,000 visitors, including policymakers, global CEOs, and industry leaders.
Speaking at the inauguration, Union Minister Giriraj Singh emphasized the significance of these exhibitions in strengthening the textile value chain. He highlighted that the integration of garment technology, sustainable dyes, and handicrafts underscored the evolving landscape of the industry. Calling it a unique initiative, he stated that Bharat Tex 2025 served as a collaborative hub for industry leaders, manufacturers, and artisans to showcase their expertise while driving innovation, sustainability, and trade opportunities on a global scale.
The Greater Noida showcase featured four co-located events, each playing a crucial role in the global textile supply chain: Garment Technology Expo (GTE) 2025, DyeChem World Bharat Tex 2025, Indian Handicrafts Pavilion, and India Sourcing Conclave (ISC).
