Government Extends RoDTEP Scheme Till September 2026

The Government of India has announced the continuation of the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) scheme for an additional six months, extending its validity from April 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026.
Issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the notification confirms that the scheme will remain applicable to all eligible export products during the extended period.
As per the notification, the existing RoDTEP rates and value caps, as outlined in Appendix 4R and Appendix 4RE, will continue unchanged. The extension ensures that exporters will continue to receive benefits at the same levels as applicable on March 31, 2026.
The government has also clarified that all other terms and conditions of the scheme will remain unchanged, providing continuity and policy stability for exporters.
Eligible exports made between April 1 and September 30, 2026, will continue to qualify for RoDTEP benefits under the prevailing structure, subject to existing guidelines.
The extension is expected to support exporters in managing ongoing global trade uncertainties by maintaining cost competitiveness and ensuring predictability in export incentives.
