Himatsingka Group Names Chanddra Bhan Kataria As SVP – Yarn Sales
Himatsingka Group has appointed Chanddra Bhan Kataria as Senior Vice President – Sales (Yarn Solutions), reinforcing its focus on strengthening and expanding its yarn business globally.
In his new role, Kataria will lead the company’s sales strategy for yarn solutions, with a clear mandate to scale market presence, deepen customer engagement, and drive growth across key international markets. He will also play a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s yarn portfolio by leveraging his expertise in integrated textile operations and end-to-end supply chain management.
Kataria brings with him extensive industry experience spanning the entire textile value chain. Prior to joining Himatsingka Group, he served as Business Head at Textile Technologies Group in Uzbekistan, where he spearheaded large-scale farm-to-fashion initiatives and oversaw high-capacity spinning and ginning operations. His tenure was marked by a strong focus on operational efficiency, driven by technology integration and process optimization.
Over the years, he has also held senior leadership positions at Winsome Yarns Ltd. and Spentex Tashkent Toytepa LLC. In these roles, he successfully led business turnarounds, enhanced production capabilities, and delivered sustained financial performance.
