Lululemon Appoints Heidi O’Neill As CEO

Lululemon Athletica has named Heidi O’Neill as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 8, 2026. She will also join the company’s board and be based in Vancouver.

A seasoned industry leader, O’Neill brings over three decades of experience in brand strategy, product innovation and global operations. She spent a significant part of her career at Nike Inc., where she played a key role in scaling the business from over US$ 9 billion to US$ 45 billion, overseeing product development, brand direction and consumer engagement.

Prior to Nike, she worked with the Dockers brand at Levi Strauss & Co. and currently serves on the boards of companies including Spotify Technology and Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

“Lululemon is an iconic brand with strong consumer connection and significant global potential,” O’Neill said, adding that her focus will be on accelerating innovation, strengthening cultural relevance and driving international growth.

Executive Chair Marti Morfitt said O’Neill’s appointment follows an extensive search, highlighting her ability to drive growth and lead transformational change.

Current interim co-CEOs Meghan Frank and André Maestrini will continue in their roles until O’Neill assumes leadership, after which they will return to their previous positions.
