Indo Count Q1: Rs 967 Cr Revenue, Rs 38 Cr Profit

Indo Count Industries Limited reported consolidated revenue of Rs 967 crore for Q1 FY26, up 1.8% year-on-year, despite continued global trade uncertainties and US tariff-related headwinds. Margins improved 372 bps sequentially to 12.26%, supported by cost-efficiency measures.

EBITDA stood at Rs 119 crore, up 35% QoQ, while PAT rose sharply to Rs 38 crore from Rs 11 crore in the previous quarter, though down 51.4% YoY due to lower volumes and product mix changes. Sales volume for the quarter was 23.6 million meters versus 25.3 million meters in Q1 FY25.

The company’s new businesses , Utility Bedding and USA brand operations, continued to gain momentum, contributing Rs 130 crore to revenue. E-commerce accounted for 12% of total revenue, while non-U.S. core business made up about 30%, highlighting Indo Count’s diversification strategy.

In July, the company re-launched its 180-year-old heritage brand Wamsutta through a Direct-to-Consumer platform in the USA, receiving a strong market response.

Executive Chairman Anil Kumar Jain said, “While US tariff uncertainty has impacted near-term volumes, Indo Count remains focused on aligning production with customer sourcing strategies and leveraging opportunities from Free Trade Agreements. The successful Wamsutta relaunch marks a significant milestone in strengthening our premium brand portfolio.”
