Trident Ltd Net Profit Drops Sharply By 54.8% In Q4FY’24
In the fourth fiscal quarter ending March 31, 2024, net profit at Ludhiana based Trident Ltd dropped sharply by 54.8 percent over the same quarter in the previous fiscal to Rs 59 crore.
However, revenue increased 6.9 percent from a year ago quarter in the Rajinder Gupta led textiles manufacturer to Rs 1,682 crore in the January to March 2024 period.
EBITDA in the reporting quarter declined 24.2 percent year on year to Rs 202 crore, while margins stood at 12 percent compared to 16.9 percent in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022-23.
The yarn and towel divisions contributed Rs 902 crore and Rs 575 crore respectively, in the Ludhiana headquartered company’s overall revenue.
