ITME Society’s Seema Srivastava Earns Doctorate In Management Studies

Seema Srivastava, Executive Director of the India International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITME) Society, has successfully completed her Doctorate in Management Studies from the Indian Institute of Business Management and Studies (IIBMS).

Her doctoral thesis, titled ‘Brand Equity and Strategic Marketing for Exhibitions,’ explored the intersection of branding, marketing and industry-focused exhibitions. Srivastava earned an ‘A’ grade for the programme, which she pursued from February 2023 to August 2025.

As Executive Director, Srivastava leads the 45-year-old ITME Society, an apex body dedicated to advancing India’s textile engineering sector through technology upgrades, investments and global partnerships.

Srivastava holds multiple academic and professional qualifications, including a Master’s in Economics, a Master’s in Strategic Business Management & International Trade, and postgraduate credentials in Global Strategic Management and International Law from Louvain University, Belgium. She has also completed specialized programmes in Trade Fair Management (Rotterdam), Exhibition Management (IEIA & IAEE), and export promotion.

Known for her go-getter approach and innovative thinking, Srivastava has been instrumental in propelling ITME Society to greater heights across both domestic and international platforms.
