Jens Reinig Appointed CFO of Freudenberg Performance Materials
Freudenberg Performance Materials has appointed Jens Reinig as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective April 1, 2025. Currently serving as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Finance & Controlling, he succeeds Marco Altherr, who will leave the Freudenberg Group on March 31, 2025, to pursue new opportunities.
CEO Dr Andreas Raps acknowledged Altherr’s contributions, stating, “He played a key role in our company’s success and introduced forward-looking initiatives. I deeply appreciate our collaboration.” On Reinig’s appointment, Raps added, “With his extensive management experience and deep understanding of our business, he will provide valuable insights as CFO.”
Reinig joined the Freudenberg Group in 2008 and has held various finance and controlling roles. He became SVP of Finance & Controlling in 2020. A graduate of the University of Mannheim, he holds a degree in business administration.
From April 1, 2025, the management board will consist of Dr. Andreas Raps (CEO), Jens Reinig (CFO) and John McNabb (CTO).
