KARL MAYER Launches World’s Fastest Four-Bar Short-Stroke Tricot Machine

KARL MAYER has introduced the HKS 4-S EL, a new high-performance four-bar short-stroke tricot machine designed to combine high speed with enhanced production flexibility.
With a maximum speed of 2,500 rpm, the HKS 4-S EL is currently the world’s fastest four-bar short-stroke machine in the warp knitting sector. The machine offers a maximum working width of 280 inches, which can optionally be extended by an additional 10 inches.
Designed for both elastic and rigid applications, the machine features a height-adjustable fabric take-up and EL pattern drive, enabling a wide range of product variations and rapid pattern changes.
The HKS 4-S EL can produce high-quality, high-density and compact performance warp knits, as well as mesh-like fabrics such as Powernet-style materials. The fabrics are suitable for applications including sportswear, home textiles and apparel.
The machine is available in E 28, E 32 and E 36 gauges, with working widths of 130, 180, 210 and 280 inches. All four ground bars are stitch-forming and operate with a 2-inch shog.
