Kumaraguru College Signs MoU With Grasim Industries
Kumaraguru College of Technology’s Department of Textile Technology has entered into a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Grasim Industries Ltd on November 20, 2023. This collaborative agreement marks a milestone for both institutions, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship encompassing student internships, projects, placements, faculty training, knowledge exchange and collaborative research initiatives.
The MoU was made possible with the support of Murugan Thenkondar, President and Head of Global Business Development at Grasim Industries Ltd, Mumbai, and Ramesh Venkitapathy, General Manager, Marketing (Women-Woven). The collaboration sets the stage for enhanced educational and industry engagement.
Dr. S. Sundareson, ASP, Department of Textile Technology, was appreciated for his valuable contribution to the successful establishment of this strategic partnership. The collaboration aims to create a dynamic platform for learning, research and professional development for students and faculty alike.
