Lands’ End & Recover Partner On Recycled Fibre Denim Line
US lifestyle brand Lands’ End has partnered with recycled cotton fibre producer, Recover to launch a low-impact denim collection using recycled fibre.
The two companies have partnered to develop sustainable denim pieces, in timeless styles for both men and women, and all of which contain 20 percent of Recover’s recycled cotton fibre produced from textile waste scraps.
“Using Recover’s high-quality recycled cotton fibre, significantly reduces the environmental impact of the garment compared to apparel made with virgin fibre,” Recover said in a press release.
“This collaboration also shows how textile waste can be integrated back into the system to create a more sustainable production model,” the textile recycler added.
“We are delighted to collaborate with Lands’ End, to accelerate the adoption of sustainable initiatives all over the world and bring low-impact fashion closer to the consumer,” Sr. VP (Marketing) at Recover Boris Mercier said.
“Lands’ End is committed to helping better our environment and minimise our impact on the earth with help from partners, such as Recover,” Kym Maas, Sr. VP (Product) at Lands’ End added.
