Lenzing Achieves Triple A Rating From CDP

Lenzing AG has been recognized by the global nonprofit CDP for excellence in environmental reporting, earning a Triple A rating in climate change, forests and water security for the fourth time. Only 23 companies worldwide achieved this distinction across all three categories in 2025, out of over 22,000 companies that disclosed their environmental data.

Georg Kasperkovitz, Member of the Managing Board of Lenzing AG, said, “The renewed Triple A confirms our commitment to driving sustainability forward in a consistent and measurable way. Improvements in water and forest management, while maintaining our climate rating, demonstrate the effectiveness of our teams. We will continue on this path and actively help shape the transformation of our industry.”

CDP operates the world’s largest environmental database, aligning with global standards such as TCFD, and its ratings are considered a benchmark for investors and business partners evaluating corporate sustainability.

Lenzing pursues ambitious sustainability goals in areas including decarbonization, responsible water use and sustainable raw material procurement. The company sources wood and fibre pulp from certified sustainable sources, optimizes raw material usage, improves energy efficiency, and invests in renewable energy solutions.

Further details on Lenzing’s sustainability targets and progress are available in the 2024 Sustainability Report, with the 2025 Annual and Sustainability Report scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.
