Lenzing Seeks More Applications In Flushable Nonwovens Products
Wood-based specialty fibre producer Lenzing Group has inked a partnership between Veocel, its lyocell fibre nonwovens brand and Hangzhou Nbond to accelerate the innovation and application of Veocel in flushable nonwovens products.
The applications range from moist toilet tissues to feminine hygiene products and other personal hygiene product offerings.
NBond, one of the earliest manufacturers to launch flushable feminine care products globally, is also the first to use Veocel in flushable feminine care products.
According to Lenzing, the partnership will enable both parties to explore new possibilities for the application of Veocel in flushable nonwoven products to address changing consumer needs.
The partnership aims at a long-term technical and innovation support towards the development of new nonwoven fabrics using Veocel at NBond’s production facilities.
