Lululemon Releases FY24 Impact Report, Unveils Ambitious Impact Agenda 2030

Lululemon has released its fifth annual Impact Report, detailing progress made in FY24 across its social and environmental commitments, while also announcing a refreshed Impact Agenda 2030, a renewed strategic framework that will guide the next phase of the company’s impact journey. The updated agenda builds on learnings since 2020 and focuses on deepening the brand’s work across people-centric and planet-centric priorities.
The company highlighted meaningful strides in FY24, including expanded global parenthood benefits, new family-forming offerings, and the maintenance of global pay equity. Lululemon also continued advancing its Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Action (IDEA) initiatives and partnered with more than 160 social impact organizations. Through its newly rebranded Lululemon Gives programme, the company achieved its goal of reaching 10 million people with access to wellbeing tools and resources.
On the environmental front, Lululemon reported nearly doubling the share of products made with at least 25% preferred materials compared to 2020, while also achieving its recycled polyester target ahead of schedule. The company continued strengthening its materials innovation pipeline through long-term collaborations with Samsara Eco and ZymoChem, aimed at scaling enzymatic recycling and plant-based nylon inputs. A new target was also introduced, committing that by 2030, 50% of electricity consumption among its core Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers will come from renewable sources.
With the launch of its Impact Agenda 2030, Lululemon outlined updated commitments based on where its influence is strongest and where broader industry collaboration is required. Key goals for people include maintaining global gender pay equity, achieving top-quartile performance in employee inclusion and wellbeing, supporting 200,000 participants in supplier-community programmes, and delivering well-being experiences to 20 million people. For the planet, Lululemon aims to maintain a 60% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions, achieve a 60% reduction in Scope 3 emissions intensity, ensure 90% of products contain at least 25% preferred materials, and expand repair or resale options to 90% of global markets.
Lululemon emphasized that sustained impact will require innovation, resilience and deep collaboration across the value chain. The company reaffirmed its commitment to transparency as it works toward its 2030 goals.
