Mango Partners With Circulose To Scale Circular Fashion

Mango, one of the world’s leading fashion brands, has become the first company to partner with Circulose since its restart, marking a major step in its journey toward circularity. The partnership will integrate Circulose—a next-generation material made from recycled cotton waste—into Mango’s supply chain, reinforcing its commitment to low-impact, traceable fashion.

Circulose, produced through an innovative chemical recycling process, is made entirely from discarded cotton-rich textiles and can be used to create regenerated fibres such as viscose, lyocell and modal. It replaces virgin materials like wood pulp and cotton, supporting circular textile production without compromising quality or design.

“This partnership is a milestone in our sustainability roadmap,” said Andrés Fernández, Mango’s Sustainability and Sourcing Director. “By 2030, we aim to use only fibres with a lower environmental impact. Circulose brings us closer to that goal.”

Jonatan Janmark, CEO of Circulose, added, “We’re proud to welcome Mango as a circularity scaling partner. Their commitment to innovation and circularity aligns perfectly with our mission.”
