ManMohan Singh Receives ‘Outstanding Leader Award’ At ABG Chairman Awards
Manmohan Singh, Group Executive President (Chief Marketing Officer) of Grasim Industries Ltd., has been honoured with the Outstanding Leader Award at the Silver Jubilee edition of the Aditya Birla Group Chairman Awards. The recognition marks a significant milestone in Singh’s distinguished 35-year career with the Group and his contributions to the textile and fibre industry.
Singh said he was humbled and grateful for the honour, noting that the achievement reflects the collective impact created across teams, people and the industry over the decades. He credited the award to the support and mentorship he received during his 14-year journey within the Aditya Birla Group.
He expressed deep appreciation for leaders who shaped his professional path, acknowledging the guidance of Kumar Mangalam Birla, Pranab Barua, Krishna Kishore Maheshwari, Shailender Jain, Debu Bhattacharya, Ratan Shah, Thomas Varghese, Dilip Gaur, H.K. Agarwal, Ashok Ramachandran and Vadiraj Kulkarni.
Singh also highlighted the crucial role of teams across GBTL, Vikram Woollen, Jayshree Textiles, Soktas, and most recently Grasim MBDD and Birla Cellulose, calling them the “true pillars” behind every milestone he has achieved.
Adding a personal moment to the celebration, Singh shared his pride in having his son Navjot present at the event. Navjot was also nominated for the Chairman Individual Award in the Emerging Professional category, making the evening especially meaningful for the family.
He concluded the message with heartfelt gratitude to his wife and family, acknowledging their unwavering support, patience and encouragement throughout his professional journey.
