Mayer & Cie. Showcases Innovative Circular Knitting Solutions At ITM Istanbul

Mayer & Cie., a leading specialist in circular knitting machines, is set to unveil its latest innovations tailored for the Turkish market at the upcoming International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITM) in Istanbul. Visitors can explore Mayer & Cie.’s offerings at booth 303 B in hall 3, where the company will showcase two new machine types – the SF4 3.2 III and the Relanit 3.2 HS II – along with a range of smart solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency in circular knitting processes.

Benjamin Mayer, Managing Partner of Mayer & Cie., expressed his optimism about the ITM show, highlighting its role in driving the textile machinery sector forward through collaboration, idea-sharing and showcasing advancements. He emphasized the potential for innovation to invigorate the industry following a period of stagnation.

The Relanit 3.2 HS II, renowned for its productivity and energy efficiency, remains a cornerstone of Mayer & Cie.’s offerings. With its updated version, equipped with a new thread guide and enhanced needles and sinkers developed in collaboration with Groz-Beckert, the Relanit 3.2 HS II promises improved performance and reduced downtime.

Addressing a growing demand in the clothing industry, Mayer & Cie. has introduced the SF4-3.2 III, designed for lightweight elastic three-thread fleece fabrics. Featuring advanced plating capabilities, this machine offers exceptional quality and efficiency, catering to evolving market trends.

Both the Relanit 3.2 HS II and the SF4-3.2 III come equipped with the new Control 5.0 machine control system, offering enhanced functionality and ease of operation. The system, available in SmartControl and ClassicControl versions, ensures seamless management of knitting processes and allows for efficient control and monitoring.

In addition to machine enhancements, Mayer & Cie. has introduced knithawk, a tool for optical defect detection, aimed at minimizing knitting errors and optimizing resource utilization. Furthermore, the company offers a range of upgrade kits and conversion kits, allowing customers to enhance the capabilities of existing machines and adapt to changing production requirements.

Benjamin Mayer highlighted the value of these solutions in maximizing the longevity and versatility of Mayer & Cie.’s machines, providing customers with cost-effective options for expanding their production capabilities.
