Meera Industries Bags U.S. Orders Worth US$ 403,300 For Advanced Textile Machinery

Marks strategic push into carbon nanofibres, biomedical yarns and premium cotton markets

Meera Industries Ltd, a leading manufacturer of twisting and heat setting machines with a specialization in technical textiles, has announced the receipt of three significant export orders from the United States, cumulatively valued at US$ 403,300. This development underscores Meera’s growing prominence in high-precision applications across the carbon fibre, medical textile and luxury cotton yarn sectors.

The orders were placed by two U.S.-based textile innovators:

  • Buhler Quality Yarns Corp (Georgia), a renowned supplier of fine-count cotton yarns, has ordered twister & winder machines worth USD 360,400. These machines will enhance production of twisted cotton yarns, aimed at premium fabric segments in apparel, home textiles and industrial use.
  • DexMat Inc. (Houston), a cutting-edge climate-tech company known for “Galvorn”—a carbon nanotube-based material—has purchased a ring twister valued at USD 42,900. This equipment will be utilized to precision-twist carbon nanomaterial fibres for aerospace and high-performance engineering applications.

The machines supplied—twister, winder, and ring twister—are engineered for high-speed, defect-free processing of both conventional and advanced fibres. The company’s robust design and customization capabilities have been pivotal in securing trust from international players in technically demanding sectors.

The projects are scheduled for execution in Q2 of FY 2025-26. These contracts, entirely from international entities, are expected to significantly strengthen Meera’s footprint in advanced textile machinery segments.
