Mimaki Launches Two Advanced Direct-to-Textile Sustainable, High-Quality Textile Printers

Mimaki Europe has launched the Tx330-1800 and Tx330-1800B, two advanced direct-to-textile printers designed for sustainable and high-quality on-demand printing. The new Tx330 Series enhances accessibility while reducing environmental impact, making it ideal for varied print runs in the textile and apparel markets.
The Tx330 Series eliminates the need for extensive pre- and post-processing equipment, offering a space-efficient solution with minimal wastewater generation. The printers support dual ink set capability, allowing seamless switching between textile pigment inks and dye sublimation inks, broadening application possibilities. Unlike traditional dyeing processes, these solutions require only printing and heat fixation, eliminating water supply, drainage and wastewater treatment requirements—making digital textile printing more accessible.
The Tx330-1800 enables seamless printing on both fabric and paper, catering to textile signage and interior fabric applications. Meanwhile, the Tx330-1800B features a belt conveyor system, ensuring stability for printing on stretchy, thick and thin fabrics, making it ideal for short-run apparel production in compact spaces such as offices, schools and retail stores.
Arjen Evertse, General Manager – Sales, EMEA, at Mimaki Europe, emphasized the industry’s shift towards on-demand and local textile production: “With these new solutions, we are addressing the growing need for easy-to-use, versatile and sustainable textile printing within small spaces, without compromising on quality. Traditional textile dyeing accounts for nearly 20% of industrial water pollution, but by utilizing textile pigment and dye sublimation inks, Mimaki’s Tx330 Series significantly reduces water and energy consumption, making the process far more resource-efficient.”
The Tx330-1800 Series is powered by Mimaki’s ‘330 Engine’, delivering sharp details, smooth gradation and high-density colour printing. Additionally, Mimaki is introducing TxLink5, an advanced textile RIP software, designed to enhance workflow efficiency in multi-printer environments.
The Tx330-1800 and Tx330-1800B will debut at FESPA Berlin (6-9 May 2025) and will be available for the textile and apparel market in June 2025.
