Monte Carlo Fashions Wins 35 MW Solar Power Project Under PM KUSUM-C Scheme

Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd has received multiple Letters of Award (LoAs) from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (MPUVNL) for setting up solar photovoltaic power plants with an aggregate capacity of 35 MW (AC) in Madhya Pradesh.
The projects have been awarded under the Surya Mitra Krishi Feeders Scheme – PM KUSUM-C and involve the development of grid-connected solar PV power generating stations in one district of the state. The selection covers the complete scope of solar power plant execution, including engineering, procurement and construction (EPC).
According to the company’s regulatory filing, the solar projects will be backed by tariff-based Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with a tenure of 25 years, commencing from the scheduled commercial operation date. The execution period for the projects is estimated at 18 months, followed by a long-term operational phase of 25 years.
The total EPC cost of the order is approximately Rs 3,147 crore including GST, highlighting the scale of the project. MPUVNL, a domestic government entity, is the awarding authority, and the company has confirmed that there is no promoter or related-party interest involved in the transaction.
