Nishant Mhatre Receives International Excellence Award
Nishant D. Mhatre, an active member of the Indian Textile Accessories & Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (ITAMMA), has been honoured with the prestigious Certificate of International Excellence, along with an award and medal, by the Global Research Foundation, USA.
The recognition was conferred during an award ceremony held on May 30, 2026, at The Denissons Hotel, Hubli, Karnataka, in acknowledgement of Mhatre’s contributions to the textile machinery sector at the international level.
Speaking on the occasion, Mhatre described the award as a reflection of the collective strength and legacy of ITAMMA, one of India’s oldest textile engineering associations. He acknowledged the efforts of the association’s founders, trustees, office bearers and managing committee members whose leadership has helped build a resilient institution serving the textile industry since 1943.
Mhatre noted that the honour has further strengthened his commitment to advancing India’s textile machinery and accessories sector, a critical segment that supports efficiency, innovation and competitiveness across the textile value chain.
He highlighted the increasing role of textile machinery manufacturers in enabling automation, advanced manufacturing and sustainable production practices, adding that the industry will continue to play a pivotal role in building a future-ready textile ecosystem in India.
The award, he said, serves as an encouragement to continue contributing towards the growth and technological advancement of the Indian textile engineering industry.
Mhatre also expressed gratitude to his family and mentors for their support throughout his professional journey and dedicated the recognition to his wife, Yamini, acknowledging her unwavering encouragement and support.
