Nitesh Dhingra Appointed Director – Raw Material Apparel At Walmart
Nitesh Dhingra has been appointed as Director – Raw Material Apparel at Walmart, marking the latest step in a career spanning more than three decades across textiles, apparel, global sourcing, supply chain and sales and marketing.
Dhingra brings over 30 years of industry experience, with expertise covering global sourcing, raw material management, mill management, supply chain, quality assurance, product development and commercial operations. His experience spans key textile categories including knits, wovens and denim.
Prior to joining Walmart in August 2026, Dhingra served as Head of Sales & Marketing at Arvind Limited, a position he held since May 2023. Before that, he was Head of Sales and Marketing (Director) at Raymond UCO Denim, where he spent a year.
A significant part of his career was with Raymond UCO India, where he spent more than 22 years, progressing to the position of General Manager. During his tenure, he gained extensive experience across textile manufacturing, sourcing, sales and business operations.
Earlier in his career, Dhingra worked with Arvind Limited as Key Account Manager, handling sales and marketing for shirting fabrics. He also spent nearly four years with YKK as Production Lead – Textiles, with responsibilities spanning production, production planning, raw material management and polyester yarn purchasing. He began his career as a Production Engineer at Jersey India Limited, working in production, yarn purchasing and circular knits.
