Noida Garment Exporters To Set Up Apparel Cluster In Odisha

Several garment exporters from the Noida apparel cluster have proposed to set up a garment cluster in Khordha in Odisha which will be spread over 100 acres.

This was announced after a Noida garment exporters delegation met with Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

“Patnaik assured the delegation of comprehensive support and facilitation and welcomed them to be a part of the Odisha growth story,” Pragativadi reported.

When fully functional, the Khordha apparel cluster is expected to employ around 10,000 people in the state and support in the overall economic growth of the state.

The capital city of Bhubaneswar is located in Khordha and this district is the most urbanised of all the districts of Odisha.
