PHDCCI To Host Technical Textiles Conference In Ludhiana On July 25

The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), with the support of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, under the National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM), is set to organize a one-day Conference on Technical Textiles on 25th July 2025 at the CICU Complex, Focal Point, Ludhiana.
This industry-focused conference aims to bring together key stakeholders—including policymakers, industry leaders, manufacturers, innovators, and experts—to explore the dynamic landscape of technical textiles in India, with Ludhiana emerging as a strategic hub for the sector.
The conference will open with an Inaugural Session on the theme: “Market Growth, Challenges, Opportunities & Way Forward,” followed by three technical sessions covering:
- Innovations, Possibilities & Application Avenues in Technical Textiles
- Sustainability & Compliance in Technical Textiles
- Skilling, Compliance Training & Workforce Development for a Sustainable Technical Textile Ecosystem
The event will be graced by several prominent dignitaries and speakers from the Ministry of Textiles, National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM), Ministry of MSME, SIDBI, NITRA, BIS, and Oerlikon Textile, among others.
Sanjeev Arora, Hon’ble Minister of Industry, Commerce, Investment Promotion and NRI Affairs, Government of Punjab, will address the Inaugural Session as the Chief Guest.
The Conference seeks to position Ludhiana as a Centre of Excellence for Technical Textiles, while reinforcing the Government’s vision under NTTM to bolster India’s global leadership in this high-growth segment. Key discussions will highlight BIS standards, sustainability frameworks, skill development initiatives, and collaborative opportunities across the technical textiles value chain.
By fostering dialogue, knowledge sharing, and partnerships, the event aims to catalyse innovation, enhance compliance and skilling, and pave the way for a resilient, sustainable, and globally competitive technical textiles ecosystem in India.
