Precot Joins ITMF As Corporate Member To Expand Global Reach
Precot, a leading provider of a diverse range of cotton products for cosmetic, personal hygiene and medical applications, has recently become a Corporate Member of the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF). This move is poised to enhance Precot’s international standing and foster collaboration within the global textile industry.
Christian Schindler, Director General of ITMF, expressed enthusiasm about welcoming Precot as a new Corporate Member, emphasizing the strengthening of Indian representation within the federation. He noted that Indian companies, including Precot, are capitalizing on a robust domestic market and increasing interest from global sourcing entities. Schindler highlighted that Precot’s decision to join ITMF following its participation in the ITMF Annual Conference 2023 in China is a positive indicator of the unique international platform that ITMF provides for companies worldwide. Ashwin Chandran, Chairman & Managing Director of Precot, underscored the appeal of ITMF in representing the entire textile value chain, from fibre production to the manufacturing of apparel, home textiles and technical textiles.
