PUMA Appoints Andreas Hubert As Chief Operating Officer

The Supervisory Board of sports company PUMA has appointed Andreas Hubert (49) as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective September 1, 2025. He will join PUMA’s Management Board, which will then comprise five members.

As COO, Hubert will oversee global sourcing operations, sustainability and product development, IT and logistics. The new role consolidates responsibilities previously split across the Chief Product Officer, CFO, and CEO, streamlining PUMA’s leadership structure.

Hubert brings two decades of industry experience, having most recently served as Chief Information Officer at Adidas, where he led technology strategy and IT services. He also spent 12 years in Hong Kong in senior sourcing roles, including SVP Global Sourcing.

“With his extensive background in IT, sourcing and supply chain management, Andreas brings the perfect combination of strategic insight and operational excellence,” said Arthur Hoeld, CEO of PUMA. “His expertise will be instrumental in optimizing operations, driving digital transformation and strengthening supply chain resilience.”

Commenting on his appointment, Hubert said: “PUMA is an iconic brand with tremendous potential. I look forward to working with the team to strengthen our operational backbone, accelerate digital innovation and enhance supply chain agility.”

From September 1, PUMA’s Management Board will include Arthur Hoeld (CEO), Markus Neubrand (CFO), Maria Valdes (CPO), Matthias Bäumer (CCO), and Andreas Hubert (COO).
